Natural Disaster / News story (Continue)
On 25 August 2015,My teacher taught about"Natural Disasters." to continue from last week.
We learnt about Natural Disaster in my worksheet. We had 3 story news in our worksheet. 
The First news: Myanmar flooding affects one million

The Second news: Typhoon Soudelor hits China with deaths, floods and mudslides

And the last one is Landslides kill 9 in Doti and Gulmi districts of Nepal

We can find the headline, lead,body/detail in each story and can answer the question in our worksheet.

Natural Disaster / News story
On 23 Aug 2015. I learnt about natural disaster. My teacher opened videos about Natural Disasters is Tsunami in Japan. 

After that, she gave us to discuss  natural disaster and asked us to wrote some vocabulary about the natural disaster that we ever heard on the whiteboard. We tried to think of the vocabulary and we helped to write the vocabulary on the whiteboard.  

then she asked us to wrote some brand of English newspapers that we ever heard on the whiteboard as well.

She gave a handout for us and taught us to read each story. 
She taught us about a component of the news story.I used skimming, and scanning strategies and find the reference of the subject in reading the news.
It's very hard to understand some news because some news had a technical term and phases that I never heard .I solved the problems with tried to guess the meaning when I can't guess I'll find the meaning in a dictionary online.

My Diet

I think my diet is healthy. 

I eat a lot of vegetable, fruit, fish and rice.

I try not to eat too much snack and fizzy drink.

For breakfast I usually eat rice soup with fish 

and at lunchtime I usually eat stir fried pumpkin with egg.

In the evening I usually eat Northern style chili dip and rice.

One thing i love is lime juice 

and one thing I never eat is peanut butter.

On 11 August 2015, Dr.usa  started with talking about weblog and then she gave corrective feedback about my homework , read about " no more junk food" and wrote each topic on the board then discussed about topic then she explained about "How to write a good topic sentence" It's hard to wrote each topic because it has to cover whole sentence, I was blanking out. I has to find keyword in sentence and compiled it and then she explained about " Finding  reference". Finally she assigned Project work about "Healthy food  and Unhealthy food" ,write about "My Diet" on this blog and find a news articles. Next week I have to present this project in English and OMG

Introduction / A healthy diet?

         On 4 August 2015, In the first time to studied with Asst. Prof.Dr.Usa Noytim. I thought she maybe a strict teacher but not same as I thought she's a very nice teacher. She gave course syllabus and explained about everything in this subject. She spoke English very clearly but sometimes I can't understand what she said because sometimes she spoke quickly and more difficult words. She explained about skim and scan a little bit before started lesson one

Lesson one I learnt about "A healthy diet?". She taught about healthy food and unhealthy food that I have background knowledge so it's very easy for me then she gave worksheet that I have to work on my own , it's about separate between healthy food and unhealthy food that I have to think up "what is healthy food and unhealthy food" then I have to shared my information with my partner.

It's very funny because I thought information's partner is wrong sometime I thought which one is healthy food  and which one is unhealthy food, we discussed until time's up then she gave correct feedback and assign homework that I have to created an account blogger and wrote everything that I learnt every week on this blogger it's very hard for me because I'm not good at english but I'll try to do.
